My race is at 8:00am this Saturday, March 29th, 2014. If you're curious, you can see the 13.1 mile course map here. With only 4 more days til race day, I've already started tapering down my week day runs to rest up before Saturday. I'm so excited for packet pick-up on Friday, and race day itself! :)
Also, you may have seen on Instagram that I recently purchased a medal display for my race medals from York Sign Shop on Etsy.com. I've been wanting a medal display for quite some time now. The more races I run, the more proud I am when seeing my race medals. I want to display them proudly considering how far I've come with running. It's still hard to believe that a couple of years ago, I trained to run a 5K (3.1 miles). Now, my short runs during the week are 3 to 5 miles.
I'm so excited to FINALLY cross that finish line on Saturday morning and be able to add my very 1st Half-Marathon medal to my medal display along with my running bib! :)
